GEL Putters have a number of leading technologies within their designs …
1. Groove technology (optimal angle) milled into an aluminium insert to create immediate forward roll on the golf ball and reduced skid.
2. The thin, firm multi-layer aluminium is a very light material, to enhance feel & gives exceptional feedback to the golfer.
3. The light aluminium enables the weight of the putter head to be distributed around the perimeter to enhance the Moment of Inertia (MOI*) - no golfer hits the ball out of the same spot every time and this bigger sweet spot gives increasing forgiveness (less putter head twist) for off-centre hits.
4. The centre of gravity (COG) of the GEL putter is much higher up the face than that of a traditional putter face. The COG of the ball and putter are in alignment at contact (Think of two snooker / pool balls when they collide!).
5. GEL shaft technology enables weight to be distributed throughout the shaft and with low torque increases stability of the putter head through impact to improve your feel and pace control.
The combined use of the GEL technology above creates instant forward roll on the golf ball and reduces the effect of skidding.
